    Hello,

Since this is the Christmas Season, a red 27 T Touring hot rod would work for cruising. With the presents in the back seat, deliveries would top the rest of the cars on the road.
    upload_2025-12-6_3-38-13.png
But, despite the red color for Christmas, a lot of folks do not like red for a hot rod. So, a dark Blue color with the same ingredients, such as a sealed set of window coverings to protect the family during the holiday cruise for shopping and family visits. An SBC motor purrs while it throws out plenty of heat for those “Over the river and through the woods…” scenarios. Even visits to the local mountains that have been given a coat of snow for this season.

Dark blue is a popular color for all cars and looked appealing upon drawing that version. Even with silver pinstripe highlights and a slight rake.

So, despite not wanting to maintain the difficult Black color, one has to like the contrast an all black, fenderless, 1927 T Ford Touring can look like when finished. YRMV

This car was built by John Foster, he pieced two t bucket body's together in 1963, he was in his early teens at the time and a member of the Philadelphia Modifieds at the time.

John kept it many years and changed some things, John sold it a few years ago and since then he has gone through a lot of hot rods since.

I thought it was one of the coolest T's I had ever seen. HRP

The oval driving lights as headlights were a signature feature on that T Tub.

I always have thought I would build a touring if I did a prewar car…. Maybe one day.

this one is earlier but just pretend it is not. I'd like one like this with old cracked paint and full fenders. :)

It would make a great parts hauler, comfortable seats for driving, reinforce the area behind the seats for swap meet hauling and power with the engine of choice.

I am 66 and retired plus kids are gone.
No need for 4 doors and extra seats how about some photos with the back cut off and a pickup bed installed from like the 1950s early 60's?
Not afraid to chop up a perfect body the Hot Rodders would have done back then anyway.
    Example below maybe on a 32 ch***is?
Maybe install Olds Rocket with a 39 box?
    40 Ford rearend possibly.

Yep, Gimme a shout. I also sent you a contact on Insta for a really nicely restored T RPU. So you possibly wouldn't have to cut up the Tub.

Which style of build? Cries out for full fender cruiser - my vote. Key is: how do you intend to use it? Build & flip for most $. Cruise? Race? Show only? What? 2nd question: how much time & $$ do you want to invest in the build? Late model 4 cylinder/automatic full fender cruiser seems like fun to me

  28. I’m thinking about using a late model 4cyl

    got a 153 Chevy

I can see it in my head. Probably been done before. How about the driver sitting in the back seat and keeping the stock wheelbase. Then stuff it Buick straight eight in it, and yes the engine will be in the front seat area. One of you computer wizards could probably draw it up…

Okay, just came in from snowblowing the driveway and my brain is still frozen
