    The car is a GN & the engine a KTOR JAP v-twin 1030cc IMG_20250521_140945.jpg
Aside from the body the rest of the car has been built at work. It has a heap of hours in it

It’s been 3 weeks since I occupied the driver’s seat!

gee, I hate being to busy and the weather too wet to go for a quick drive :(

Checking in. Have a reverse eye T spring and 39 trans ready to be installed - just trying to find some time to dig in and get it done.

Today’s “boring” project was cutting these rod bearings. Full length A rods going in a pressurized T engine with A crank

Swapping a 39 trans behind the banger was the best thing I've done to my Roadster. So much more fun to drive not having to double clutch

Nothing boring about boring. Unfortunately, it's becoming a lost art in machining. Most want to program and cut in cnc and the outcome may not be as accurate.

Confession… I did! Turned out way better than my pops old fashioned tooling too. My machine is basically new, and cutting within about .0003” of round. Have been looking at boring heads, just don’t want to pay for the one I want. Maybe next time…

After a 10+ year hibernation, it's finally time to get this back on the road.

Crazy, how the years go by. There's a handful of cars in socal that I used to see everywhere ten to twenty years ago and haven't seen in years. Perhaps the owners just get sidetracked and don't use them or who knows what happens.

My story goes back to November 2014 at the FAST hill climb. In my quest for a quicker time. I was shifting with out the clutch and busted something in the drive line. A few months later I bought a house that has taken me 10 years to remodel..
