Thanks so much,now I have a better idea on how to do it.
I ***ume when I tack the mounts for the split bone sand mock the axle in possition,ill have a better idea on how long the new spring will need to be,also I'll have to heat and bend the perch mounts.
Here's another idea

 

Be aware of your caster when you are making wishbone mounts and possible crossmember changes.

I have these sets of pedals..the one with the big box bracket came from my 1940 dodge monteplier,,it would be so cool to use it with all the linkages and stuff

 

Easy way to put in a svivrola engine in it.

 

You can use the '37 pedals and fabricate a master cyl mount like V/8 Garage does.
Little bit of metal and hardware; low cost and easy.

'39 pedals fit with a little trim to X member opening. Clutch linkage matches and it has a master cylinder mount. '39 pedals usually cost $$ tho.

'40 pedals work too; but you need to add the Z bar and change the throw out shaft. '40 pedals don't cost much; but more work involved.

 

This is why people build street rods or just do frame swaps..

Those old things drill out pretty easily.

Had a very frustrating Saturday night early Sunday..I had to cut the axle to cut the perch bolt..its out...the cherry on top was that i missed a swing with the 15lb BFH and I hit my shin,im lucky to be walking..
I ordered a 39 break ***embly from a hammer and tomorrow i will order the boling bros rear hydraulic brake set,
Today i finished breaking both axles down and flattening the rear crossmember the way @Marty Strode showed in one of his Tech articles...
Good thing about this frame,everything came apart pretty easy,except those ****ing perch bolts!!
I pulled the extra parts i had laying around...I just gotta read read read,and get ypur guys help to set the front suspension.

Except we stick weld up in this muddafugga!!
Tomorrow ill flip the frame over and weld the inside..

 

I wish I read this before buying the 39 pedal that still needs bushings

In the past barnfind08* had bushings; otherwise a chunk br*** drain pipe from Home Depot will do for the big one and a bearing house should have the small ones.

You have great skills evident in your past projects. The recent rebuilding of the '51 COE comes to mind. You are expanding your skillset here. Learning. That is what life is all about. Do not cut yourself down. Maybe ask more questions before pulling the trigger on items that "Look like that will work". The knowledge is here. Use it to your advantage. Lastly. "Never give up".
