I got sheep! (and a toilight). We played a goofy gift exchange game and it was hilarious. Most fun Christmas I’ve had in a long time.

Santa brought me a Speedway 9” rear end and a pair of carb adapters a little before Christmas.

Nice Christmas present Lou. I found a similar but smaller cast aluminum model of a Lockheed Constellation a few years back at an antique swap meet in LA and I just had to have it. I don’t run across them very often, always liked them.

    Primeweld Cut60 plasma cutter here.

I’d like a table to go with it, but I’m too old and dumb to learn to use one.

better half and I long ago decided to just give each other things we thought the other either would need or like as we found them, rather than wait for holidays or birthdays. This means no pressure to find the right gift at holidays, and
we both feel free to treat ourself when we want or need that special something. Downside is she is on a first name basis with the Amazon drivers.

    303 Olds is good….
I told myself years ago that I worked hard, paid my bills and socked away some money for a rainy day, I deserve to buy myself something that I really want that would be hard for someone else to get me.

Bonnie and I have a similar situation...we already have anything/everything we need.
We decided years ago, rather than buy each other something, we just make a "meaningful" donation to Project Paw...a local "no kill" animal rescue shelter.

Being A Wisconsin guy I used to go to the EAA show in Oshkosh, it's a very Kool show, bigger than a nationals car show for airplanes/flying. You can take a short ride in various airplanes, ticket price varies from a Ford TriMotor to a Concord Jet, varies from year to year, plane types/price. I bought a ticket for the Ford TriMotor, seem to remember 75$ and one engine would not start, no problem with the refund, So......... I missed that ride. I thought about the Concord, but 500$ was more than I wanted to spend that day for a 10 minute thrill. Highly recommend attending. Santa did not leave me a car related present under the tree, But everyday is Christmas as all my life, worked hard-played hard and bought myself what I needed-wanted AND now downsizing slowly for the last time and amazed what a PIA that is, today's buyers are a trip, things like common sense, courtesy, respect have fallen to a very low level, too many vultures today IMO. Another memory the HAMB woke up this AM with my coffee. Happy New Year to All.

I also took a flight in the tri motor a few years ago. Was flying over me all afternoon so we decided we should probably go check it out! Flying over the city in what amounts to a folding lawn chair was a trip! Very smooth calm experience!

In my mid teens, two of my friends had a job flagging for crop dusters out of a very small airport close to Greenleaf Idaho called Frank Field. At that airport was a non operational Ford Tri motor. It sat outside, uncovered, slowly deteriorating. I had no idea of the significance of the aircraft to aviation history at the time. About 15 years ago, my wife and I visited the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville Oregon on our way back from the Oregon coast. For those who don’t know, that’s where Howard Hughes’ Spruce Goose is displayed. Also, a**** MANY other great airplanes was the very same Ford Tri motor that was at the airport in Greenleaf Idaho. I was dumbfounded. According to the signage, that very plane carried the first air mail in the United States. For those that are into aviation and haven’t been to the Evergreen Aviation Museum, it’s a great place. And I hear there’s even more been added since we were there.

5-lug Dana 60 for my Plymouth coupe.

I paid for it, but Santa Claus Kurtis @Hollywood-East in NY fired up his sleigh and picked it up for me. He's gonna crate it this week and I'll send a freight shipper to bring it to Michigan.
