Restricting myself to cars not mentioned yet,
I'll take the Olds truck from the Beverly hillbillies for a TV show.
For a movie, I'd like the Woodie from Loose Cannons (Warp speed Captian?)
or the Convertible from the Kartate Kid.

  6. How about the yellow 40 Ford in Tony Nancy's shop in Hollywood Knight's, or the 29 rpu in the Andy Griffith movie Winter Kill.

No one has mentioned any Cheech and Chong movies, I loved the ice cream truck in Nice Dreams, I think it was a late 40's Chevy. I tried to find a pic, but no luck. And the van that bounced into those people's yard had me laughing so hard I was crying.

The 60 Invicta sedan Lee Marvin drove in "This Man Dawson" and...............the one that made me crazy, that '63 Vette that Tod & Buzz drove.

    A '59's too old, '61's too new.

  22. I think the Phantom Corsair kind of resembles this car from the movie "SPEED"... from 1936... (Bluto use to own the car from "SPEED"!)

only cool car in whole picture:cool:

  24. No kiddin... BLUTO had that, huh? Cool.
I know the movie was choppy due to early film making technology, and alot of it was filmed off-road, but that car looked like a rough rider... like it had solid suspension.

For me---it's gotta be The California Kid--I got to watch them make it at "Clarksberg"--it was Piru,Ca ---a couple of us drove over from Ventura and watched the filmming--sat at Buzz's station and got to see the Gas Station scene---and listen to the Kid uncorked---been hooked ever since.

Man that was a cool trailer. It hurt having to watch those rides go out the way they did but it was great to see Mitchum throw the chop down on that guy.

Just remembered another one. There was an excellent Indian movie made in 1989 called "Pow Wow Highway". Gary Farmer plays a present-day Indian (which he actually is, of course) and his war pony is a 1964 Buick 4-door that is possibly the most disreputable looking car I've ever seen -- no dents or grafitti that I recall, but rusty all over, sagging suspension, smoked like a crop duster.

I believe he called it "Hector Protector". Wonderful.

  28. Who here remembers the T roadster from the old Disney movie, The Shaggy Dog? It looks so cool when it spins around in the middle of the street.
