Wow! No wonder you do beautiful work. That shop is gorgeous. You’re wired that way.

I’m REALLY of the “flat surfaces and I have a rocky relationship” fraternity.

Where did you find that drawer/cabinet/workbench? It’s the berries.

There is more info on the bench (and my shop) in my thread over on the Garage Journal...

Roscoe approved of the color combo...

Kinda pulling some inspiration from mid-50's Fords with the polished door panel trim 1956-ford-fairlane-victoria-hardtop.jpeg

  4. Hey Neal - unless I missed it, would you post some pics on your Christmas party while it's not been too long ago? Have enjoyed your latest updates too!

I like the door arm rests, are they '54 Chevy?

If you are referring to my annual reliability run and shop party, it was really small this year and I didn't take many pics.

Here are a somepics of the run and back at my shop. Ignore the off topic late models... 20251129_094445.jpg 20251129_105124.jpg 20251129_094250.jpg 20251129_093228.jpg 20251129_162847.jpg 20251129_163918.jpg 20251129_163821.jpg 20251129_163929.jpg

  8. Thank you for posting these pics - really enjoyed them! The hot rod that grabbed my attention the most was that Burgandy 3-window - she sure was puuurty!

More poster board interior panel mockup.

I formed the kick panel trim this morning. I used the buck I had made to form the corners on the aluminum tack strip for my 32 sedan

I tackled a little repair to the p***enger door that I had put off. The door check tabs were broken out of the jam.

Fortunately I found the bent up tabs in the bottom of the door. I didn't snap a pic before I blasted them, but you get the idea

    20260117_175216.jpg

I cut the rivet and straightened out the tabs

I straightened out the jam and drilled to plug weld the tabs back in

Nothing glamorous about this repair, just one more project ticked off the list.
