    Well here it is

larger pic of the piece I made. The yellow stuff is CuSi tig rod that I used to attach the key to the base piece. I thought I'd get less distortion vs mild steel or stainless. I still had some.

Test with seat. There is a single tack on the upper stick to the base. I may have to rotate the top another degree or so. You can see the gap between the riser and the seat. I used this seat when I got the truck and actually liked it. Just another opportunity.

Thanks BB. I still have your seat riser mods in my mind. I want to use some of the storage area under the seat.

    I'm glad your still following.

I should have started with a 1 1/4 dia round. I'll live with what I have.

Yes. I'm sold on their products.

On the seat - being that I am short this may not apply to you but I leaned my seat back a little by making the front higher by a half inch or more. This has helped me for comfort on long rides with support under my legs. Test it out a little bit and see what you think. I went up approx 1/2” or more up front but after upholstery and all it didn’t quite end up that much.

    Just a thought …..

The spacers in the pic are 1 1/2 in. straight up and I was debating 2 in. Your suggestion my be just the ticket. I'll test it out. Thanks.
