I just went back to page one of this thread. Is the primer chalky? Or the car is ***ty pink.

  2. Lol that's a good question!!! I have no idea what's going on there. I'm guessing it's primer. Might have to buff it :D we shoved it back to the side of the building today. Maybe I'll get a chance to stick the new carburetor on it soon, see where it goes from there  need to be putting the engine together for the falcon instead of messing with this old car lol

    :D

Problem is, the newer Ford Engineers heard a quip like this and decided the body comes off for valve covers and other basic stuff.

Naw... somebody probably just offered him good money for the frame...and that is the aftermath.

Maybe there`s a For Sale sign on the street side.

This is not good. Lloyd has the drag racing bug bad. First the rip roaring 85 hp isn’t good enough. Now he’s pulled the heavy stock frame and put some kind of a tube frame under it. I’ll bet he even makes his hired help push him around the shop while he makes drag racing sound effects. And I don’t know if we can even find enough people around here, that don’t already have the same problem, to do an intervention.

  11. Bingo lol...

  12. It's going "non traditional", think about putting a model A on a 32 frame, sorta. Gonna be a channeled cruiser. Then it'll get another for sale sign lol

Late 1980s. A friend of mine dragged this '41 Lincoln 3 window out of the woods...gave him $500 for it. I used parts of a later GM frame (nothing left of original one or the floors).

About a years worth of metal work. 350/350. A guy from NYC offered me stupid money for it...sold before I finished it.

Used the front and rear sections of a 1970 Caprice ch***is, adjusted the wheelbase to fit the Lincoln and attached the front and rear sections with 2-1/2" X 6" steel.
Lowered the body over the new frame, leveled everything up and built the floors to fit new frame...worked out quite nicely.

  17. Hell yeah. I have everything laying around to make something cool and usable. The majority of the floor is gone, so I'm gonna channel it to a level of stupidity lmao! I want it to s****e when I pull out of the shop. I got a set of smoothies, 255/70 on 8" in the rear, and 205/75 on 7" in the front. Stick a sbc and an automatic in it and let it ride

I bid $100 on the old frame :)

  21. I got pretty good money out of it. He wanted the transmission more than anything.

Amazon has a killer steering shaft for $50. I bought one, and when I got it, checked it out, and ordered 3 more! 30 spline gm on one end and 1" DD on the other. Telescopic. I'm impressed at the quality for the price.

  23. Cool
Let me know if he’s selling anything else off it

  28. Frame swap???? Not just a frame swap, believe it's going 6.0 LS also lmao! But that'll be later this year, too many irons in the fire at the moment.

  29. Trying out a different frame and . . . "littles and littles?"
