Yes, I knew a junkyard owner who would only drink Piels. He probably would have O.D.ed on the higher quality brew.

  2. I've given my local s****per quite a few 6 packs in the past to heat up stubborn rear brake drums on pre-war Ford rear axles and stuck backing plate adjusters. He's only half mile away so no big deal. These guys have Heineken for lunch .

For me it was a bit of disappointment, like finding out the girl you just picked up had extra plumbing.
Although she had a pretty kool grill.

Very curious what might lay beneath the hood of that old piece.
May have to make another midnight run

Orchard tractors used to have full sheetmetal covering so branches didn't get snagged by them.

With that tongue to tow it, looks more like a portable power unit or pump to me

  17. I had a 28 roadster disappear off my flatbead trailer not more than 50 yards from my house. A local hotrod shop some how just had a 28 roadster appear. Not for long - - -.

You got your '28 back? & then helped ensure the "local hotrod shop" "entrepreneurs" utilize & hone their metalworking(if any) skills for the fine art of license-plate fabrication & visual-decoration? :D

  19. There used to be T-Shirts that said "Coors, the Breakfast of Champions" . I would put Coors just about the same level as Brew 102. Which at that time was the breakfast of )()( teenagers. A six pack of Brew 102 and setting on the beach near San Pedro in the 1960's. When it was legal or no one cared. I used to remember a lot of empty beer cans setting around junk yards when I was young.

  20. Well better than that, I told them not only the roadster but the stack of 28-29 fenders they had were also stolen at the same time. They could not prove otherwise so to not involve the police it ALL came back home. I had taken pictures of the roadster setting on my trailer a few days earlier, while setting in front of my house. Kind of hard to prove not mine unless they had a bill of sale. 7 fenders in all. 3 left and 4 right side !! Thank You *****holes.

Flat fender Powerwagons are just about as valuable as 32 Fords these days. There's some money to be made there I bet.
