Every couple of years, I like to sit down and list my top-5 favorite American automotive designs of all time. It's actually pretty interesting to go back and look at some of my previous selections to see how time changes thought. Here's where I stand as of 10:12am this morning: 1. 1936 Ford (all of em) 2. 1965 Buick Riviera 3. 1932 Ford Roadster 4. 1949 Ford Club Coupe 5. 1938 Ford Coupe (seriously!) Where do you stand?

For me, in no particular order, its 1934 Ford 5 window coupe 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe 1956 Nomad 1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville 56/57 Continental Mark II But on the other hand, what looks better than a chopped, channeled, fenderless Model A coupe!

Before I joined the HAMB, I was a "Street Rod" guy. But since I've been paging through this site just about every day (almost religious about it) my tastes have changed dramatically. This is actually very difficult for me...There are a lot I like and/or would love to have. But, the ones that when I see at a show or driving down the road always grab my attention are: 5. First Gen Camaro (68 is my favorite though) 4. 69-70 Chev Short Fleet pickup 3. 57 Chevy 2dr Hardtop 2. 1959 Corvette 1. 30-31 Model A - Really Model A anything, but lean more towards 30-31.

1936 Ford, all. Possibly the best looking front end of any model ever. 1939-40 Ford. A car that needs no modifications to look cool 1932 Ford. The grille alone is a piece of art. 1963 Corvette split window. 1967 Mustang Fastback. Bad ass, thanks Steve McQueen.
Not limiting myself soley to 1928-64 stuff, my list includes some cars that I just fell in love with the first time I saw them. I know some people will scratch their heads because they've never actually LOOKED at some of them...running their eyes over the whole car to take in all the lines, they just let their preconceived notions of the era they hail from taint their opinions...but here's my top five, as of Today! 1. 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe 2. 1952 Chevrolet two door coupe 3. 1965 Chevelle/Malibu two door hardtop 4. 1974 Camaro 5. 1976 Plymouth Volare Hate the Camaro and the Volare all you want, I think they were two of the many best looking designs from the Disco Decade!!!
53 Stude Champion has to be in there somewhere... The design of that car was completely different than any other out there.

32 Ford 5w 37 Lincoln Zephyr 3w 50 Ford business coupe Duesenberg J and I have a special fondness for 67 Vettes, look good from every angle, inside and out, and speeding by in a blur. Wouldn't change a single thing. My dad and brother in the late 70's- dig the cadillac wire hubcaps! They're still on their today.
my top 5 list....6 1. 36 Ford - all 2. 32 3 window 3. 46-48 chevy 4. 37 chevy sedan delivery 5. 37-39 lincoln zephyr #6 is a toss up between a 54 chevy and a 49chevy fleetline.
