  11. How about this Euro Deuce with a strange custom roof. Photo was in the latest Netherlands A Ford club magazine .
    Towtruck is a 1936 Ford. Place is Rotterdam or Delft, NL

    Was surprised when I saw this photo recently of a Ford in service with London's Metropolitan Police Force. Photo was taken in Staines in summer of 1935. Staines is a town right at the outer edges of the MetPolice area, and a few miles south-west of where Heathrow airport now is. The beginning of the 1930's was really the formative years of London's Police force starting using cars and motorcycles for patrol work.
    My late father was a London Policeman from 1956 to 1986, so I have always had in interest in the historic vehicles used by the Met Police during their existence. Met Police 32 Ford.jpg
