... we are now 20,000+ strong, how many of you are deuce owners?... ...show off your ride here, no matter the condition. EDIT ***wow, it's been 4 years since I started this thread and we've added another 100,000 members***
I got one thats about to go thru a MAJOR change !! Mabe Dirty31 can post some picts of her new chassis ....
Don't forget the Deuce owners club manditory response to the elitists..."my shit is cooler than your shit" statement...the digital salute.
here's my deuce! bought her the summer I turned 14. pic is old (about ten years) but she's still hanging around. originally a sport coupe, now turned cabriolet. windshield posts are fabricated, and carson top is ready to cover as well. has a dropped 32 axle, unsplit bones 283 cube chevy with 97's, 39 ford toploader, 47 ford rear. buick drums on early ford brakes all the way around. need to get some of my better pics scanned in
"no matter the condition" ...OK I like 32's and fixer uppers. Heres a shot of most of my hot rods a couple years ago. Some get worked on and some just sit forever. Some get sold or traded and some are added. The nice part about having several rods of the same year is the interchangable parts. Deuces are my favorite and most were bought when the fixer uppers were really cheap. eg 3W body w/dash and garnish $500 roadster body $850 rolling 5W $3200 nice rolling tudor $2500 phaeton rolling $4500 .......I see now looking back those were the bargain days. These are not for sale and this is not meant to be spam. Just one of my favorite shop pictures that I thought I would share.
Mine. I cant wait for spring so I can start driving it hard. Gotta thank Clark again for the chance to buy the body and the help putting it together. Also Motor Mikey for building a new motor for it. Ride to Bonneville '07 baby!!
it's in the works with a debut in Spring '07. It will look like the sleezier, topless, 2nd cousin of 3W Larry's deuce.
Here's mine, New Zealand built right hand drive, 348 Chevy, original frame, unsplit front bones, '36 ford rear bones, banjo wheel.
Thanks, we WILL be there! I freakin' love this car Me and Clark built it in 6 weeks this past spring.
Larry ... the 32 MUST BE RUNNING and DRIVING to get the secret handshake and password ... You get the handshake and password on the mountain side ... Heres the two I currently own
We need to get somekind of special decal made with H.A.M.B DEUCE CLUB ??? Looks like the SECERT PASSWORD & HANDSHAKE is known to a few ..humm were Ralph & Norton when you need them
