Very impressive metal fabrication. What does it have for a drivetrain?

NOW there is a guy that REALLY knows what he wants and has the skills to build it. I really like how the frame swoops up from under the firewall. Its not sudden like some Z'd frames. Very nice work. Looking forward to more pics of this build.

Are those Opel Astra OPC wheels and tires? They look familiar.

  8. Awesome metal fab work, but as Ratbone said, and MANY more will say, the wheels are tragic, and blow the whole look of the car. That's the first thing evryone will notice.
But I can't say enough how much I admire your metalworking skills!

some one please photo shop him some new wheels.

    Nice metal work..

  11. SO since he isn't :) famous we dont kiss his ass, when we dont immediately like what he does?
Dont insult the guy, he is after all, building it from scratch -[as HE wants it......]
It has real nice proportion...That is not always the case here on the HAMB......

Question for builder...[As for the WHEELS]......Are you gonna run fenders on the front too, I presume ?

  12. That is some great work man, not only the metal but the wood bucks you made, etc. Keep it up and more photos! The wheels comments aren't needed either. Sorry but it's what he has and could just be for mock up or what he likes, plain and simple.

I seen the IFS but didnt want to draw any attention to it LOL

  24. Can't bag on a guy that is building a hot rod. It's either that or a 2000 Civic with a fart can. Plus, if he copied everyone else and their sister then they'd be bitching because it's not different. But I'll let this one go, I can see it comming into a huge argument. Either way, the body work and metal work is slick, very good.

He's in Sweden, I think he HAS to run front and rear fenders, someone from Scandanavia clarify for me.

  27. I think it looks great, wonderful craftsmanship. Dont let all these guys get you down, I look at it as a true hotrod. Built from what is available to you, in your image. What everyone doesnt realize is there's probaly a lot of Volvo in it.

    Keep up the great work,

Don't let the traditional police get you down. Personally I love the car just like it is, wheels and all.
