Here is my 1971 BMW R60/5 600cc with148,000 miles on it. The valves clatter like hell because it needes a head rebuild. I ride it everyday to work/school in the spring/summer/fall. I just got my licence a year ago when I turned 18.

This is my dad's recently restored 1965 BMW R50/2 500cc. We are currrently restoring the ural sidecar that will go with it. I still haven't got to ride it!

This is my dad's unresored 1957 BMW R26 250cc. Has 112,000 miles on it with one top end rebuild. The orginal owner drove it to work everyday untill my grandpa bought it.

My dads new bike is a 2004 BMW R1150 Rockster. Already has 44,000 miles on it. It's pretty quick to.

Here's mine -- yes, it is a "Ducati-powered chopper". I used a custom built racing specification Ducati 2-valve engine and a few Ducati racing suspension / brake parts. I ended up making the rest myself in my shop -- chromoly frame, steel bodywork, under engine exhaust, headlight bucket/ring, rearsets, custom electrical, triples, etc. Ended up being featured in 33 magazines throughout the world so far. Did it initially as a fluke -- I build them for customers now as well as doing aftermarket parts and design work for others. Bike is retired from magazine/publicity purposes and is now just used for daily transportation from home --> work and weekend rides and has ventured onto the racetrack to the surprise of a few racers when I pass them.

note: love some of the bikes that others have on here!

Since no one's posted one yet:

Here's a pic of my latest (and last) bike. A bobbed '75 Kaw H1. Currently for sale on the auction site we love to hate - I'm shocked at the level of interest it's generated.

79 CBX, 6 carbs, jack shaft, DOHC. If you like reading about engines that were ahead of the their time, google this one. 6 into one exhaust sounds no less than indy car. Wife could hear me coming a mile away, while she was inside the house... Sold it. Like owning a carnival that needs new plugs every 400 miles in the altitude I lived at, (8000 ft) at the time. Lots of fun, burn rubber below 40.
