That's James Hetfield's (Metallica) olds, I think it was built by a guy in Little Rock. Can't remember his name met him about 4 years ago, drives a slammed yellow 49-50 chevy.
The red conv with the Cad rear fenders is actually a 1948 98. When I saw the car about 7 or 8 years ago it was an outstanding old custom. It was at one time owned by Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats.
This is my buddy Ralph's (Ducky) car. He from San Berdoo area. It started as a sedan and he made it into a hardtop. Its come a long way since he first got it. It will be bad when he finishes it..

Yeah me too, I love those years! There used to be one in west LA with original paint and upholstery and everything it was a 52 I think. The owner was a crazy old man who would just move it once a week for street cleaning. It was all full of old newspapers and magazines except for the driver's seat. I always thought it would make a killer kustom, but he wouldn't sell. Now I dont see it around anymore.
