Got this from former boss and friend when he went in a nursing home, he had it sitting in his den forever, always wondered what it was out of. Looks like a higher end 30's vehicle.

Wow, that is one fancy dash...could even be from the 20's. I take it there are no markings anywhere on it? i'd love to know what it is.

In an obscure reference to those British mop-heads of 1964 -- "Arthur".

Looks like a casting. Pierce Arrow used that technique but I can't exactly date it. I'd guess mid to late 20s more than 30s. The picture is kinda small. Hard to tell. It may also be European, but I'm gonna stick with Pierce Arrow. Hard to find dash stuff this old with a web search. Then again, Percival fits it quite nice too :D

Provide some closeups for the forensics team to ****yse. It has a Jules Verne look to it.

The component pieces ought to provide clues to it's origins in the form of dates and places. C'mon, help us to help you.

I'd posy your photo and question on one of the antique car sites like the Antique Automobile Club or America's site: www.aaca.org. Maybe someone there can help you out.

That is an instrument panel, not a dashboard. Instrument panels fit inro dashboards, and some dashboards are instrument panels if the have no inserts like this, but this is an instrument panel.
Looks very similar to a late 20s Packard panel we had and sold a few years ago.

Started a debate on AACA, is it a instrument panel or a instrument cluster?

here is a closer pic of the, err, instrument thingamajiggy whachacallit, LOL ;)
Say Stewart Warner in middle of speedo. From left to right, TEMP, OIL, SPEED/TOTAL/TRIP, AMPS, GAS. On very bottom of speedo is small cap letters: Stewart Warner Speedometer Cor'n, Chicago Made In USA Patented. On back of gas guage says IGN SW., has on back of speedo, Stewart Warner P33433

Not sure if that P is the date code but if it is it would signifi that the year of that gauge is a 1922 from the looks of it. according to stewart warners web sight. They may be able to answer that question at techsupport@sw-performance.com
