Anyone know if a 32 pitman arm has the same splines as a F1 box?

I am running a F1 box on my 32 frame and want to run the stock 32 draglink. The ball on the 32 is on the inside of the pitman arm not on the outside like a stock F1. If it does fit.....anyone have one?

which box is it? 49-53 or 54-56? they have different splines. I think the early box may be the same (or made to work) but the later box is totally different.

I know '32 thru '48 p***enger cars were the same spline (and maybe even later than that too). The F-1 boxes were also the same spline. You may need to file the flats out of the arm to clock correctly on your box though.

I used what I think is a '41 arm on the F-1 box in the '32 tudor I did. It put the tie rod end towards the inside for more tire clearance.

You could use a pitman arm of of any year and just retaper the hole halfway if needed, and then get one of those bolt-in ball studs.

I'll see you this afternoon some time and I will bring my F1 sector with to make sure of the fit. Thanks again!
