  2. very nice. I have a freezer in my garage but my wife wont let me touch it except to put food in or out. looks like hell too!

    Nice fridge, I too suffer from Old Fridge Attachment,
    Here is mine, in my Kitchen, 1950 Hotpoint, my Grandparent bought it new in Flint in 1950 been running ever since,

    Man I love old fridges! Too cool.
    I've got a '49 GE that works better than the new Frigidaire in the house.
    Look around at what those old things are worth. You'll be supprised.
    I saw a '49 like mine selling for 3 grand.

    Where else in the world could ( would) you look at a fridge post. Gotta love this board. I will post some pics of my latest fridge tomorrow.

    Are those bottles on the bottom "Waterloo Dark"? I see "Upper Canada" labels on the top shelf as well...

    I used to have a stove made by General Motors that was so old it might qualify to be on this board:D

    yea i know there costly..i paid nothing for mine...BUT..i know i can sell it for a fair price if i was to get in hard times..instead of 1 of my cars..and yes it works great..it sat outside for many years i didnt think it would work but didnt care either ..i wanted a cool fridge for my hotrod collection

    Not sur if it's Canada or the US, but the stuff that is brewed here is junk.

    Try some Stresleki Brewery beer (the brewery is only 10 minutes up the road from here :D )its the rocket fuel of the beer industry ;)

    my buddies got a 50s fridge that we call the kegorator because it holds a keg inside and the tap comes out the front door, yesterday we had ron myers of myers pinstriping out of ok. to pinstripe it and do a rat fink on the door after we painted it hot rod black ill try and get some pics when they get the door put back on the fridge

    yup i paint them...i have 2 in my shed right now and an old door... i cruise around on garbage days and snag em off tree lawns... clean em up and paint em and sell em to the goldchainers that put em in their garages..hehehe well anyone that will buy them...gutted one to hold a keg and co2 tank and put the tap out the side...in my buddies ba*****t bar..beer is cold as hell too.

    most of them work...Ive only had a few that didnt work but made nice cabinets..

    that fridge has more horsepower than a vee-dub. and it will still run better when they're both 50.

    if the ideal drinkin' temperature of beer is 31 degrees and your fridge is set for that temp... and you keep the fridge outside your shop... and the weather is 10 degrees outside... does the fridge become a beer warmer rather than a cooler?
