its probably been mentioned before but I was messing around with google earth today looking at shit and decided to look at some places where I know theres tin but haven't been able to get close enough to know how much.
It works pretty good, be nice if it was clearer, did more rural areas and was a little more up to date. Atleast you can make out cars from bales though lol

A little slow. Some areas, almost all of Mass. for example, have a feature where you can look in on a side shot from all four directions. Amazing what shows up then. The database for Mass. was taken from a database the state uses to find (and fine) people filling in wetlands illegally so the detail is very good.

the only issue I see with google earth and the like is soon your neighbours are going to want you to scrap all your cars because they can see them from space and your runing their property values.

The government can see Old Cars...Hey! Didn't old cars bring lots of money at that auction thing? Let's TAX THEM!

Government already understands the use of overhead photography; 30 years ago, a junkyard gave me an aerial photo of their whole operation...it was made for the county government, which comprehensively photographed farms to look for new barns and sheds not on the tax record. Got an address with 5 cars and 2 license plates? Think they might see some use for that info?

And all seven cars - Ha! You need a fake pool cover with someone swimming in it to put them under. :D
