Amazing how low you sit in these rails.

 

Here's a shot I took @ Moon of the original frame next to its replacement. The car was crashed in Japan and they are in the process of rebuilding it.......

 

SEE!! Japan is still trying to bring the Allys down after all this time, now there starting with our racing heritage!! (OK, so what if the one crashed was a replica too....)

 

Nice find, what to work on next.............

 

Wonder what the E/T restriction is on a double hooped chassis? Not a modern version but an original.

 

I think the limiting factor may be the tubing size - wall thickness - configuration under the shoulder hoop and lack of tubing under the rear axle and the area where your feet go.

 

Here's a shot of the Moon dragster and you can see where the frame bent.....

 

A friend of mine has a Dragmaster Dart. He is not into computers but, I told him about this thread. He wants to know if any HAMBers have any info on the trailers that Dragmaster made for the dragsters.
I'll see him this weekend and try to get pics of his dart to post here.

Another dragmaster story I have is. Stlouisgasser, tom masa and I went to look at a dragmaster car awhile back. It was cut in half at one point in its life to fit in a shed. Wonder if it is still there. Well now I have something to do this weekend.

Was the Mickey Thompson blown 4 cylinder land speed record car based on a dragmaster chassis too?? I couldn't find a pic or info...I'm sure I have the revell model car kit around here somewhere!!

I'm new to the group but I've always love the look of the early dragsters esp. the Dragmasters
If anyone does come across a set of plans I'd definately be interested .
I've got a welder buddy that builds stunt planes and a bunch of parts that nobody in their right mind seemed to think were worth anything . So I'd really like to put something together

Or anybody that is into computer pic stuff. I just watched the Ingenuity In Action Video from NITROFC's post.
We really really need to have a Dragmaster trailer to haul the Dragmaster. I ain't to good with the computer stuff. Can somebody get some good still shots of trailer. With some pics I'll be able to clone a trailer. Please,please, please yep I'm beggin'.
