Yesterday, 1 mile from my house a lady has a model AA truck in her barn and wants it gone.....I never new about this truck, So I go over there and she says "If you want it, take it" I say ya of course, then she goes "my brother has say on it though ill call you" I get a call and she says give me 400 bucks for it................I go over and hand her the cash and get it outta the barn, I got it home, put a battery in it and it runs, No rust anywere on the thing what so ever!!!! Also in the last month I have got all these cars within 5 miles of my house; 28 roadster;$1000.oo 29 Es*** coupe;Free 30 Sedan;Free 35 dodge coupe;Free and ****-tons of parts all over ranches and creeks. So when you here someone say "there aint **** in California anymore" the moral of the story is There wrong, its absolutly everywere!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and this........next door...
hey, I just go look!! and usually find stuff! there is soo much out there, I am waitin to find that cherry 32 though!!!!! I know of more than 40 early 30's cars around here that are neglected!!! Go and look!!!!
It's true, even here in Northern Illinois it's amazing what you can find if you just look for it; of course ours is usually a little rougher than that stuff. I can find it, but I can never seem to scare up the cash at the right moment.

cool, now go cut it up. -a lot can be said for just looking around. we take a sunday a every month or so and just ride back roads. you almost always find something worthwhile.

You must have some of Hatch's mojo. He's got a 31 coupe and a deuce 5 window and got them both within a few minute drive. He was bummed at breakfast a few weeks ago. Took a back way and didn't find a deuce roadster. Congrats man, there's one of those AA trucks about 45 minutes from me parked right next to a 38 Graham.
How do you go about talking to folks? I have spotted a few out around my place but I don't really know how to approach someone and as about it. You just drive up to their property and ask what's up with that truck kinda deal? Lots of farm trucks around me.
I just go askin, saying that My grandpa had one and I would really like to restore the thing,and if they want to sell it you offer them minimum sometimes cheap..................you will sometimes get turned away! another thing helps that I am only 18 and have braces so they think im a young kid
