I'm gonna be a Florida HAMB'er in but only a couple weeks. I can't wait. I'm breaking the news to all my friends tonight I'm curious as to what their reactions are gonna be.

I lived there for 35 years. So glad to get the hell out of there. Between the hurricanes, tornadoes, rain, Idiot drivers from the great white north. I moved to Seattle 4 years ago, and every time I have to go down there for family business or what mot, I dread it. Lots of comments from people saying yeah it's hot and humid so drink water. You know what? **** that!!! I worked at a dealership in Sarasota for 10 years with no AC and that ****ed. Change your uniform at lunch because you're soaking wet from sweat. It is beautiful down there, but it is way more beautiful up here. Less rain, way bigger car scene, much friendlier people, lots more cars to find.

I loaded it myself :D , with my buddy Heath's help that is. If you wanna help unload it your more than welcome to. My tool box is gonna be hard to get out, it was a ***** to get in.

Hopefully tomorow will bode better for me than today. I got stuck in the snow twice, and hit an run by a semi (no injury's just minor damage to the truck. and so we called it a night and were barely in Penn. It took us 12 hours to make it 350 miles. I ****ING HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! thus why i cant wait to get to florida.

It's home, I am a native. I wouldn't know how to live anywhere else. It's hot in summer, especially for those that come from somewhere with milder summers.. you either get used to it, or will hate it here.
I grew up in a house without AC, in the Tampa area.. whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger I guess.
Good luck with your decision and move.

Within 2 years when the temp drops below 70 your gonna be freezing your *** off! Trust me I was baffeled at first by people wearing hats and mittens in Fla but now Im close to doing it myself. Up north snow is a given , down south you MIGHT get a Hurricane! Ill take my chances . Good luck driving south and be safe

  14. Welcome to Florida Brian.

If anybody is paying attention, Brian drove straight through, got side-swiped by a semi, and still made it to the HAMB greet on time.

How many zebra cakes did it take to get here this time?

I'm in the process of moving out of Fla now, I've had enough! I've lived here for 38 years and watched it go from a nice place to live to a pain in the *** to live in. Fla especially south is a melting pot of people, crime, Heat, and just plain rude and hateful folk. Now this is just my opinion but if your insistant on moving here stay out of the big citys and find a place out in the country.
