Grumpy- I think he's pretty close to Union, out 571 to 48, should only be 10 minutes or so.

You know guys here is more fuel for the fire! The Springfield swap meet is in sat the 26th and with a meet and greet at the Hooters off 75 and 70 that would really work out.

AND the Louisville "Beatersville" show is sunday the 27th.
Awesum show traditional hot rods at a old part of town with a huge bar, Two stories and air conditioned the Indy 500 is on tv live, the beer is really cold and the food is good as well.
Parking lot is parrked full of hot rods!!! Not a Easter Egg Pastel car in sight !!:)

That would be a weekend to remember. A few miles for us Indy dudes but i am up for it !!

O.K. We are leaning toward my house for the meet and greet... I have room for more than 100 + cars. I am located 11 miles from the I-75 / I-70 interchange, just north of Dayton. PM me or Degreaser and let us know what you think. If thats good with everyone, It's a GO...

We all talked this over last night and everyone seemed to think this could be something big. This would be SAT. MAY 26th, so not to interfere with BEETERSVILLE show.

we have some good ideas and open to all suggestions.

We are thinking as early as noon/2:00 to kick things off. If it ends up going real late and people get shitfaced there is plenty of room to throw up a tent and crash for the night. We will probably do the burgers and brats or dogs deal. Anyone who can bring something, it will help too. It will be BYOB also. We know a buch of guys will wanna hit the swap meet and then meet up at Blktopbandits after that. I like to get to the swaps early anyway to get the early pickins.

As of right now, it looks like there will be quite a few people there. Bikes, Customs, and Rods are welcome. My band may even end up playting a set or two. Keep watching this thread- we will post more info as we come up with it.

PS- Anyone who wants to bring some parts to sell/swap, feel free.

I've got a couple of friends in Cinci that I hang out with a few times a year and Model A Brian (buddy of mine and blktopbandit) lives in Dayton.

We're hitting that Model A auction at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds on this coming Saturday AM if anybody wants meet up there.

I'm going to the auction (along with half the people in Ohio) on Saturday. Look for the dude with greasy hair and soul patch.

PS- Stay away from the Model A bodies - they are all junk!! :D

I'll keep an eye out here...

Grandpa and I like to hit the swap early and we usally dig through everything (hard) until about 4......we're both usually pooped out by then....

    We'll see...sounds like a good time!

edit: there's a lot of other ohio hambrs that haven't checked in.....
