Here is my '39 Ford. I took the photo in the summer of 1964. It had a 265 Chevy, '39 trans, shaved trunk lid, blue dots and was lowered. It may be more 50s style but this is the way it looked in the early '60s.

    Awesome POST.

Here is an old chop of how I tried to translate the theme idea for a push/shop truck.

Here's mine wanted an early sixties style but got alot of plans when I get back home in '08 plans are for whitewalls, chrome reversed, new valve covers, engine color change,an interior and finish off the body work with a candy or heavy flake.

I grew up in the Detroit area in the 60's but didn't let all the muscle cars spoil me. Here are some of my favorites. The Grasshopper, built by the Alexander bros. was a favorite. Saw it at the Autorama. The Model A with the plexiglass top was one of my early influences. Over the years my ideas changed and the blue one is what I finally built. It's not the channelled car I originally envisioned but still a 60's look.

  27. Not up to par with most of the others, but I built it to look like a bunch of high-school kids built it in '68, so I guess it fits............:D
