I haven't seen one! This weekend was the NNL in NJ. Anyone go? Pics? My good buddy Vic went, to sell resins, and also to disply his latest...a hot rod, not a custom! a copy of an old rod, done in Candy Pagan Gold! Nice detailing...he showed it to me at the shop this morning. He also had an album on his table with pics of the Kopper Kart on it...lots of guys really dug it. I think more model guys know about the truck, than the "car guys" I meet!

Keith, we really need to finish our T-Birds... can be an East vs. West thing. I've got nothing new to share. Sorry guys. Great pics!
Saw all the albums posted on Hobby Heaven from NNL and there was some REALLY cool stuff at that show. Got a little done on this one...not a whole lot, made windows, got the lights in and frenched, finished up the interior, straightened out the stance.
I sat in a hotel saturday night in Iowa and bare metal foiled a 57 chevy kit I got last weekend. So I did not get much done. Got a few projects in final primer stage before I left saturday morning too. I did not get to go to NNL East. No one from our group went this year. That has got to be one of the best model shows in the country.
Hey Eric... you wanna build a real version of that? I know where to get both cars for $300.. it would be fun... ****.. actually never mind... I realized that's a coupe roof not a sedan.
Yeah - mine's runnin' a fuel-injected medium-riser 427. No flip front on my bird. The headers will run through the front quarters, Cobra-style though.
I was inspired by Jeff Allison's Rodders' Journal cartoon: I decided to build the car "a few years later" with mag wheels and sticky slicks instead.
Hmmm... Buterra T body, revellogram Deuce frame with UNDERSLUNG (?!!) front suspension and a killer quad-headlight setup. I'll be waiting to hear what the heck that mill started out in.
Some of you guys might be interested in these: http://www.pinecar.com/ They have an accessory parts kit #P333 "street rod" that includes a tri-power intake/carbs with finned "thunderbird" valve covers. Also included is a pair of headers and a windshield frame, plus a few rub-on decals. All parts are metal. Go to the left column and pick "decals and custom parts". From that pulldown menu pick "custom parts with decals". I bought a set, so if you want me to photograph or measure...just let me know.
