If it weren't channeled so far it might be OK. I don't like the colors much.

There is such a thing as too much. Just because you can channel it so that the rockers touch the ground, don't mean you should. Raise the cab & bed back up about 6 inches, the proportions look much better and the whole truck might look cool. As it is, looks like someone stepped on the middle of it.

But opinions are worth exactly what you pay for them.

Thanks Mr. Foster, just what I was thinking.

  8. totally driveable anywhere. A true 1000 mile at a time road burning car. A true cl***ic. Timeless design. Collectable way before it's time. A future B/J auction front runner. It's now, it's happening, come one, come all, step up and be a possible part of history. Whatever the price is, it's way too cheap. To p*** up this one.....

Wow Cole, dont hold back, tell us what you really think.

  11. I agree with Cole, but then again I worship his skills and taste...
It just seems some people just don't step back and really LOOK at what they are doing. Lines, proportions, style, and flow. That truck is missing the boat on all of the above. But then again, opinions are like...

I just saw it this morning, in person, against a white background...but it was in a flood and got swept away. Not much bigger in person.

That steering geometry looks screwed up, when the suspension bottoms out maybe the steering links straighten out - would that be the opposite of bump steer?

I think it looks like the pile of stuff in the driveway when you clean out the garage. Some artful stacking, for sure.

What's with the threads about these ugly cars? Clicking on them sort of feeds my inner masochist, I guess…

I looked at the ad on EBay and if you look at the pictures closely you will come to the same conclusion I did. This truck hasn't been out of the driveway. I dare say the motor hasn't been fired either. Actually the thing only started out at $1000 with no reserve....so looks like somebody likes it. Hey, don't knock the radiator location, he has a built in drip pan. That rack geometry will not work properly mounted to the frame. It needs mounted to the axle so it can move at the same rate as the axle does so it won't bind. I will give the builder credit for one thing though....it isn't flat black with red wheels.

I once sent this link to an girl as an example of what my truck might be somewhat similair to, then added "without looking broken and like it was painted with mustard".
