A buddy of mine from work just bought his first old car, and yes, I am trying to corrupt him.....

I don't want to tell him"THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO...", but any of you Photochoppers out there want to give him a taste of how cool this car could be???

Drop it an inch or two but do not change anything else. Period.

i wouldnt do much more than maybe lower it a little and swap hubcaps IF that... its pretty much too nice to mess with in my opinion.. although i know most will disagree

I agree. Thats one car that does not need improvement.
What could be done??? Flat black with red wheels?
the car is beautiful. If anything I'd lower it just a tad.

Lower a little, new hub caps and a little nose and deck lid stripping and it would be perfect in my book.

That's a darn nice car AS IS. Drive it and enjoy it as much as everyone you pass by will.

The off-white paint is original, and the tan is 20 yearold laquer (really needs to be re-done). The car is SWEET, but I agree with most of youguys... Give it an Altitude adjustment (tail-dragger)swap out to some sweet caps, I might even shave the hood.....

Bring down the altitude about 3-4 inches all the way around, swap the caps for some spinners and drive it.

IF it needs to be resprayed, then I'd shave the handles, badges, bird, antenna, etc. and lower it. Otherwise, just drop it and drive it!

Agreed, there's nada wrong with it as it sits that a couple inches out of the springs couldn't fix.
Maybe new caps, but keep it classy.

If it needed work then maybe but since it doesn't, outside of maybe a change in the bottom color, leave it alone and enjoy it

Any time spent doing anything takes away from driving time. It doesn't NEED anything (except a driver and a credit card).
