I've seen the amazing model car show dioramas recreating, say, the 1951 Oakland Roadster Show. But these guys did the opposite -- a life sized car show display with huge scale model car items - boxes, glue tubes, etc. Unbelievable! http://www.flatheadv8.org/v8bob/carshow.htm Link courtesy Coop and the Hemmings blog http://positiveapeindex.blogspot.com/ http://blog.hemmings.com/
DAMN IT! We were just thinking at the shop, how cool that would be. Well, I guess we were right. Looks killer.
Now that is an original idea! Reminded me of those old "toy box" skits that used to be shown on variety shows.
That is about the coolest thing I have seen in a while. Some people just have too much time on their hands!!
That's funny...by the time I started to type and hit enter, two posts claiming this is the coolest thing... you guys are fast...
That is Fantastic! I built that model when I was a kid, Just like the blue one on the box, accept it was black. Still got it to. I don't even want to count up the years that has been.
Very cool, like "Land of the Giants". Now to truly replicate my youth and models there needs to be melted burned up 'crashed' model next to it.
WHAT NO "*****IN "ABOUT ALL THESE PLASTIC CARS! i believe i had that model /box at least the box bottom full of spilt glue and paint .. That body in the box have glue finger prints OK.... WHERE'S THE SCALE FIRECRACKERS .. PAPERDOG
FAKE FAKE FAKE! No kid built model would ever get away without glue fingerprints. The brush and bottles are way too clean. And that brush needs to be gummed up from trying to wash out Testors with water. Just kidding! This is a damn find idea. I wouldn't mind seeing it copied now and again.
