They look GREAT! I'd have to go through a stack of old magazines to find photos. Total Performance marketed a 26-27 T roadster with 28-29 fenders, there may be photos on their website.

Many 26-27 T roadsters have been built with 28-29 A fenders on A frames.
Many 17-25 T roadsters have been built with 26-27 fenders on A frames too.

  4. Here is a 27 T I built with 29 A rear fenders on it. there was a lot more to this than meets the eye---I widened the rear fenders 1 1/2" and the car was channeled 4" , so I had to radically rework the 'Mating" side of the fenders because they no longer bolted up to the flat side of the T body, but actually ran over into the radius where the rear quarters started to curve into the trunklid area---

IMHO if your going to run fenders on a '26-'27 body, you want to use the '28-'29's

Do the A fenders provide for more tire clearance to get the car lower? If so do the stock T splash aprons work, or do you need A aprons?

    Yes.

I don't like the look of A fenders on a T, though. If you gotta have it low, go fenderless.

NOTE: There are 1928 AR front fenders and late 28- 1929 front fenders. The inner apron is different and may cause tire rub.

  13. If those fenders are bobbed, theyr'e not bobbed very damn much!!!!
