I'm really digging that. I need to get my '37 done so i can find some kind of '30 - '34 ride.

    Are you kidding me?

Now that's "traditional" at its finest.

    I love it. Perfect stance.

    Nice work thus far! :D

    To answer a few questions:

Yes those are electroline lights. I came across them for a decent price, but I have to get one of the headlights chromed.

The tires are 16" firestone dirt tracks. 8.90 rears and 5.00 fronts.

I am going to be running a flathead, 3 speed, and a columbia rear.

Here is a pic of my engine:

Was going to say don't lower it, but everybody has said that already.
Once you've put a few hundred miles on it, it'll settle a little lower anyhow.
Car looks great, as does the motor.

I really like the way you've set up the ch***is, the stance is great, and I agree that it will come down some on its own after driving a little bit. The choices you've made thus far are dead-nuts-on...how much is it chopped?...posts laid back?...

It's chopped about 3" in the front and 2" in the rear. It was one of those trim a little then look deals, but that's about where it ended up.

    And the posts are leaned.

I got a kick out of the wider rear tire picture. I would never do that but it was funny to look at.

I am just hoping now that it is going too ride good and go straight.

I have been doing searches on here all the time to see how to do different things. It's amazing how much info is on here.

I had been working on this car (this would I guess would be my first build). I never got father than this and I found the 3 window body last fall. I sold the body and frame but keep alot of the other parts from this car.

Looks like it's going to be a great car. Did you do a lot of the work yourself? How did you set up the ch***is?

I have done everything except for the body work. I did help cut and the amount and style of the chop was all me, but then I got kicked out of the body shop and he finished the rest.

The ch***is is a dropped big beam front axle, model a reversed eye front spring, stock front and rear 32 cross members, 40 rear spring that was shaved to fit in the 32 crossmember.

Both the front and rear spring have the first 3 short leaves removed.

I seems a little soft, I am kinda worried about that.

Man, Yer coulda slipped a 9" in there while yer where at it CQQL!

Swell looking 'Job', Myke. I'd run it around awhile too, to see if she settles a little lower in back an' front. Certainly the makin's though. Lights an' engine look real tidy. Swell.
