Absolutely , it has been amazing lately . Actually , for a while now . swaZZie

  5. I think the quality has come up a bit, but it strikes me as more of a percentage deal than anything else.

IE: if one out of ten posts is a good one and you only get ten posts a day, one is all you get.

A hundred posts gives you ten good ones to choose from.
Kinda basic, I know, but that's what I see.

I've gotten a little pickier about which posts I open and tend to stick to ones in my area of interest or expertise . . . expertise meaning experience in my case.
Probaly true with most of us.

Post ***les are doing fairly well in describing what's inside and that's an improvement as well.

Tech info is getting better and also explained in a much easier to understand way

  7. That's good stuff.. it's too bad the best posts don't get the most responses..

gotta look for those stars! :D

It truely is the very nature of this site. Where elsr can you do this with out having a hang out? The tech and stuff is most likely due to the time we spend on here picking up each other's "vibe".

This is the first site I've ever given money to in support. I feel obligated since I get so much from it weekly.

Amen, bro. I used to spend too much time surfing politics and getting pissed. Now I can't even walk by the computer without "just checking in" on the Journal/H.A.M.B.
The wife says the same, except now I'm happy all the time instead of pissed. Marriage saved!

Amen to what Ryan and C9 said. Actually, the posts have driven me to NEED a hotrod AND a custom of my own, whereas six months ago, I was completely happy with my stock '62 Comet and '66 Imperial Crown Coupe. Now I've been RUINED!!! Booohoooo.....

I'm new, since December, so I can say I've always felt the high quality in here. I just hope I add to it in some ways.

That said, CAN WE HAVE ANOTHER TECH WEEK SOON? please? :D

Remember the days of off-topic posts. :)

It does seem like it's gotten a lot healthier and I have become less productive.

I love seeing new members being added by the day, that means we are growing community. The only thing bad is they need to start posting pics of there items for sale, and not just some B.S. about it. Just my 2 cents, not worth much probally, but there it is.......

The H.A.M.B. rocks, I have learned so much more from this site about trad, rods and customs. I was a big time Toyota Land Cruiser guy, and was big into the Pirate4x4 site. But I never learn about LC's from that site. I had to do all of my own reseach. On the H.A.M.B. the post give great links to sites that have all the info that I have been looking for. Plus the posts and posters on here are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks Ryan.

I'm with CTBrent. I get s much out of the HAMB, I'd feel like I was stealing without a monetary contribution. Best 50 bucks I even spent!

I'm also with Ryan.......the HAMB just keeps getting better.

I was just saying to one of my customers the other day, "man, you've got to be on the HAMB! You won't find nicer people, more information, and just plain cool **** anywhere!"

    Ditto...

I'd also say warmer weather across the states is bringing most folks out of hibernation...and away from the computer. Rain had me in today. :(

I expect it will continue to improve. As the hipness of rat rods dies off, the hard core will remain.

    This is good.

Alot of friends I've made here to.

It's been great, and just gets even better every day.Hambers are so quick to answer questions, and offer valuable advice. The few o/t posts are interesting subjects, like the vintage aircraft post and it's replies. Also impressive are the posts of hambers needing help, and the incredible response, such as threat of fire for Dreadman. So many offers of help moving/storing cars and family, speaks highly of the "family"this hobby has become thanks to the bond, provided by the hamb.:D Thanks to Ryan, and all the other great people who moderate and contribute to this community.

  30. Trust me, the guys that offered help, are brothers for life. And, this Hamb thing has become more than a hobby, it's a lifestyle.
