I'm really glad you guys like 'em. Not too many guys took pics of their rods back then - rather spend money on speed equipment than film.

 

WOW, Old Beet and I are related to Joie Chitwood some how, World Champion Auto DAREDEVIL, racing! crasing! jumping! '50 Fords too, 28 big stunts! Excelant photos, good to see real history.

Here's Guy Chamberlain's "Miss Clean". Guy built the car in High school. Headers are built from 34 driveshaft tubes and old bed head and foot boards. Olds powered

 

Hey Ragtop maybe we can shoot for next weekend to hook up so I can hand off the 64 Rodding & Re-Styling magazine and hang out for a while with ya looking at more those's bitchin hot rod shot's!! ....possible I'll get lucky and actually meet or talk with Roy Destardin the builder of "T" for Two!....love to hear more of those great stories and get the full history lesson from both you pioneer kats!
