I have some (it's my car), but don't know how to post 'em. Check out "Be a salt hero the EZ way" thread - there's some on there. Also check "Help support the Bonneville dream" in the For Sale ads. Also, there's a few on the Morris Garage 'site (including a 200MPH version!)...

Those shirts are killer, aren't they? Much more valueable than an old photo, any day! I bet you look bad*** in yours, 'bone. Plus, now you're ready when that quickchange starts leakin' - these shirts will sop up anything (better than any paper towel I've ever tried)!

The 1st one is from the HAMB Drags and the 2nd one is from the Pile Up. Both pics taken last year.
My 1st car was a Morris Traveler.

No, I wish I still had one though. After going to the HAMB Drags last year and seeing that one, I really want to get another one someday. Then I see the second one at Morris Il last fall. Must be making a come back!

Brandon, that's so much nicer than mine! Good work, man.
One day while driving through Louisville, a chopped Morris came up next to me in traffic. I yelled at the guy that I'd like to see more and he motions for me to follow him. We end up at his house, where he has several Morrises - mostly hot rods. The red and blue ones posted above could certainly be his. I think his name was Freddy Hook - nice guy - gave my family and I the tour while home on his lunch break...
Anyway, congrats on your progress so far, Brandon. Keep those pix comin'!

jangleguy just alerted me to this thread.

Posted this a while back but here it is again, originally built in 1968/9, raced through untill 1984. Won top paint at the 1970 Brisbane Hot Rod show with 17 coats of purple metal flake. Restoration back to its former purple glory will start this year. Then its race time:D

Hey JimBob - What's the drivetrain and suspension under that thing? I see it runs a Chevy 4 (which I love!), but what about the rest of the story?

Hey Stickshift...that Morris belongs to a good ol' pal of mine: "Rat Rod Roach" (AKA Mike Roacher)...he took that off the trailer and set down a 10:40 quarter at the HAMB drags last year...he tells me he's got a better ******/stall converter in it now...should blaze some new times at the drags in August...

Damn, wish I could bring mine out for a grudge match - we're both running in the same neighborhood, time-wise. Who knows - maybe things will work out this year...

Thanks Studedude, I will take lessons from ya when I get back
in town, thats the way to post pic's.
Stickshift, the black morris was a parts car for this one, got tired of it
just sitting so, whacked the top, rebuilt the 1275 and has been a blast to cruise around in, if I want to go fast I jump in the this one.

    Jangleguy,
Bring it out. from OR. you'll go right by Denver, I'll wait for ya
there will be a bunch going that way. It would cool to have two
of them side by side. Last year I couldn't get the car to idle,
cam to big and would load the stall. I just pulled the TH400 and
replaced it with a glide, 5500 stall, and a trans brake.
now I think somethings gona brake... or the car will be a hand full.

    Roach
