I got this for my 39 Ford 4door Convert" when I was visiting Jamaica. It is a hand carved voo doo style skull I got from a rasta. I just couldn't wait to get this on the car.

I spent a day with Norm last month when I was in Arkansas, these were two he was working on,.... I have been wanting to do a post with the pictures I took when I was there,... but with my "Fisher Price" computer it takes a long time to resize each picture,..... maybe one of these days I will resize all of them and do the post.

Here's a few of mine. One of the skulls is two piece and welded together and the other is cast. And a close up of one I got from the famous Jimmy C years ago with Von Francos name in the tounge. Haven't had the heart to paint it.

Homemade shift knob (Tap plastic epoxy Putty) Homemade steering wheel. The brake pedal is a lakepipe plug & headlight switch is a Larry Henley key chain adapted as a dash knob. Got sort of a theme going.

I've wondered about Norm's knobs. I searched and found this at Autoweek
"Legendary hotrodder and artist Norm Grabowski creates these hand-carved skulls out of wood, metal and a deep, twisted nature. These skulls are fantastic, unique and run from $600 to $2000. Call Norm at (870) 436-5280."
    Wow!

No only does Norm carve a mean skull, but he is a heck of a guy. If you ever get a chance to hang out with Norm you're in for a treat. Flatop Bob and Norm are good pals and he sometimes has some of Norm's work for sale. Be warned though, that they are highly addictive.

Hey is that a harmony kingdom figurine? Looks like one. I never thought about it, but they would make a cool shifter knob. My wife works at a gift shop that sells those things. They have one there that is dead zebra, on his back, with a vulture sticking it head out the zebra's**** after eating his guts. It would be a******in knob!
