He'll probably get a lot more spots....Dalmations are usually born white, or white with a black "mast", then develop their spots as they grow over the first couple months.

I had a Dalmation for 9 years that passed away last fall...seriously good, loyal dogs. Congrats!

Cool! and congrats! We always had Boston Terriers when I was a kid. The first one was Snuffy and the 2nd was Buddy, He could snore and fart like a drunken sailor!! Great looking little guy!

Congratulations on your new puppy! Hope you have a long and healthy life together. Make sure you get him examined at your vet's early on. Puppies need a lot of vaccinations, so get him started on time and on the proper flea/tick and heartworm preventatives for your area, too. Dalmations can have some rather unusual renal issues as they get older so check out diets and care with your vet, too.

If you have questions, feel free to PM me or check out our hospital web-site: www.companionah.vetsuite.com.

Most of all, everyone, enjoy your dogs!

hahaha, JD's a great name, but it would refer more to my love/hate relationship with jack daniels, HAHA and dalmations are great dogs, if it was up to me we'd be taking my girlfriends into our new appartment, but mom's won't let him go

Seriously, I feel for all of you. I can't imagine what my home would be like without my dog. He means the world to me and I would do anything for him. I am sorry to all that have suffered the loss of a "buddie".

    Damn man.

    I would nut out.

  26. I know exactly what you are feeling, I just had to put down my shop buddy Saturday. Very tough weekend for me and my wife. My case was probably a bit different as my dog had bitten me and was showing bad temper problems. All the options were bad and putting him down was the best choice, but it really sucked. I have never put down a healthy animal before and it really hit me hard. Time helps, is all I can say.

Man, I hate to read stuff like this. I know you may not want to talk about it yet, but what happened to them Sammy?

Give my regards to your family...losing one pet is tough enough, two would be downright miserable.

    My condolences.
