The car is *****in', wobble, let me tell ya, I wobbled all the way to Ventura and back, just to find out that my "friction shocks" were not tight enough.
I don't know what you are running for shocks, but starting at 60 mph, **** seems to hit the fan.
Goin' to Paso??? Lets wobble together.

ah yes the infamous wobble aka "The Death Shake"

my coupe gets it, it only seems to happen a certain speed tho, somewhere between 60-70 mph. how long have you had your tires mounted on you car? you probably have some serious flat spots from it sitting for so long during the build process.

hey chris how much do you tighten your shocks? do you just crank till you think you've got it right or are you using a torque wrench?

dont forget i wobbled along side you all the way to ventura too

besides i think that shake goes away over 120 right Erik....

Hell, I wish it was only a wobble....I get a wobble, a rattle, a shimmey, a shake, a jump, a bump, strange smells, excessive heat and occasionally a really hard thump or s****e...and I love it.

 

Hey Guys, I'm out doing our Tuesday thing for about a month or two.
i sign a contract tomorrow to do some computer/network upgrade for a law firm probably for the next 2 months as side work and this work has to happen at night. I need to do this before current job ends to be able to supplement. ****z but I just gotta do it.

A few new guys came by also. They said they saw it on SoCalCarCultures website,thank you for doing that.
This one guy had this beautiful Packard. He wants $8500 for it. It's really nice.

 

The red '33 Ford pick-up belongs to the guy who has that blown,392Hemi,Willys,that came awhile back. It's his daily driver. The panel belongs to another first timer. It was pretty straight.

 

Here's Draguns35 pulling in. That's MotorbikeMike's Chevy in the background. You can see 5051's shoebox convertable too. The last one is IrishMike heading home.

 

There's Eric's Falcon/Ranchero. And another HAMBer in the black '29 Roadster(can't remember his HAMB name,sorry). You can see Hoovs42,and DiamondDaves Roadster in the back too.

 

I gotta quit working so much and get my *** down there!!!

 

And for the highlight of the evening...BigDaddy's Sedan. It's pretty cool in person. The little details make the car. It's begging for a FULL FLAKE paint job! It had no brakelights,no taillights,fan pulley bolts backing out,charging issues,and he STILL CAME!!! That's one dedicated Idiot. Love the car BigDaddy,we all did. Did I mention it's ****ING loud!!! Sounded great though.

 

Not real sure how the seating arrangement works. Tandem style? Maybe that's for his little dog.
