OK, when did the spell checker arrive...and whyinhell doesn't it recognize HAMB as a word??

I seen it about a month ago for the first time.
Trouble is....... After mispelling a whole post or reply.
It takes more time to go through correcting it.
So lazy time effective me just shows my typing and spelling non-skills.

i love mozilla.

the spellcheck is built in mozilla, as you type it highlights words you may have spelled wrong, right click on the misspelled word and it lists possible correct spellings, much quicker than most boards spellcheckers.

 

Ah! That explains it all! I was using a different library computer in Mozilla because it wouldn't load IE properly today. So, HAMB will still be safe for all 857 common spellings of carburetor...

I think with IE you have to have an aftermarket add-in or something...

Here goes the recap:

First dude found spell checker on the editor and thought it was funny it didn't recognize HAMB.

Another guy suggests Mozilla because it'll check automatically instead of IE which has to have it built into the application or web page.

But although Mozilla checks spelling it still doesn't recognize HAMB until you right click and add to the dictionary, probably same with the spell checker the first dude found.
