Their website is still up, and you can still order parts, but they aren't answering e-mails and their phones are disconnected...

does anyone know if they are still doing buisness??

  3. Which one?
There is the shop in Marietta near the old Coca Cola plant and then there is Joe Smith on the south side of Atlanta.
The guy from the south side comes up to the swap meet from time to time and sets up a booth.
Josh or OldCarPilot might be able to tell you more about the shop in Marietta.

    thanks tudor for the directions.

  15. Your welcome - it is the Burger King near where Friendship road intercepts 985. I'd call and get directions because it is a large complex and they have told me they don't have any thing outside because they have been robbed a couple times. I have ridden back there and not found it once already.

Just to make sure... Yes "Joe Smith Early Ford and Hot Rod Parts" based in Marietta is closed. Joe Smith is still out there selling things. The shop, which the real Joe Smith sold a while ago, changed hands a few times, and was just bought out and liquidated about a month ago.
Josh Mills who used to run that shop has setup his own place (Mills and Company) right across the street and does NOT sell parts, but does custom fabrication and mechanics to old cars. Pretty much he'll do whatever you want done. www.millscustoms.com

The "Original" Joe Smith is still around and selling parts. I now operate under Joe Smith Flatheads and Hot Rod Parts. You can contact me at 404-636-4025.

  18. Joe, good to see you on board.
Will we be seeing you at the Lanier swap meet again this year?
