so, whats the law on bringing back a parts car or two,...... my dad used to import/export equipment but that was back in the 80s. what type of permits or paperwork is required if the owner/seller has no title? can it be considered scrap/junk?........ dont worry I could probably only afford a few parts or one parts car, but what an adventure it could be!........ so dont all of us go running down there and scare the prices up! ... maybe Sled could be our official MPC .. Mexican Parts Connection????!......

    Thanks for posting Sled!

markX,you must make a distincion about importing, such your case bringin back to US stuff...

parts are parts,no need papers ..no chassis numbers or titles!!period.in case you declare em at the custom for small cash, taht's all...and as Fiat 128 did ,passin the border..taht's fine, easy as that...

but a car is a car,you MUST have a totle or registration or some paperwork belongin to the car in order to be re-registed back in your coutry...

is the same shit worldwide, nothin special...makes me smile how complicated you guys are seeing things....

is the same all over, you buy a car with papers, right???you need to have papers if you pass any border LEGALLY in the world...

well, you could sneak thru a car without papers, but what for??makes no sense, cause at the time to register it they ask you for the import papers anyway...makes NO sense,fellas...

you need to ask the local customs and follow the import process, plus all the hassle from the mexican side, depends where you are and far away you are...

but again,if you have the car papers there's no problem, exept maybe some local mordidas to cops to on road blocks, but taht's easy to solve....small cash fix everything here!!

    KISS principle,guys.....

let's start the day ...time ago been to a junkyard to check out an old Indian bike and this Caddy 57 Eldo Biarritz cab was sittin there....

actually is still there, owned by an old greedy man....in the family since more than 20 years ,he told me!!

car is really good shape, with all the Batwing and original engine set up...nothin missing, fully running....

will post some more ,cause he has all the rest of parts carefully stored in a container besides the car....

very classy color, even the rag top is light blue....

the funny thing about these mexican toys is when the old man will die,the sons will sell for next to nothing, not interested at all!!!

Is that '58 a Fury?? It looks as though the paint faded around what could be Fury trim. Anyhooo, if I were anywhere near that car, it would be mine. Sled.... you need to pick this one up regardless of the condition.

That quite possibly is a Fury......the trim on the fender appears to have the gold insert......although the interior looks to have been changed.....missing the 'V' in the grill too......
    VERY cool ride.....

That '58 Plymouth appears to be a Belvedere with Sportone.

No dual quads, no Buckskin Beige paint, no brown interior, no gold stuff..
