well that is going to suck, I couldn't get off of work early at all. My boss took vacation, so I had to stick around.........
I am going to get drenched on the way up there, it is raining all over the place toward corpus......Oh well screw it, I guess I will be one wet chick by the time I get there..........Hopefully we will be pulling in around 6:30 at the latest...............

BBmama, that's OK just go to Snapka's on your way in. Hell, you should be here by 6:30 anyway and that's not late. There are a lot of us who won't be there until 6:00 or so no biggy. Right now 11:00am, it's raining and dark outside. This will probably move east by this PM and let's hope for sunshine by 3:00. I'll let you know the latest after lunch. Stay tuned folks!

 

I am going to put on a motorcycle helmet and a rain coat to drive the roadster PU ............LOL hahahaha. Hell or high water we will be there.............I hope your forecast is better than the weather guys............. LOL

 

ok y'all I am finally back alive. my head and neck are killing me really bad, even the drugs have ceased to help much. Anyhow. BBM Did you find a hotel yet? If not I will get yous ome numbers of decent places. If you need a place to park something that is fairly secure anyone is welcome to park in my front yard or drive way, It will secured with a .357 magnum and a honkey who is onthe edge so if someone messes with it, they better beable to outrun a bullet. hahaha Anyhow This whole wreck has gotten me all bent up and I hurt like absolute hell. I will be out there tonight at snapkas even if its rainin. I don't know how many will be there, but I will be for a lil while at least.

Well hello there, I was wondering about you...............I know how bad you must be feeling, my husband was in a motorcycle accident about 4 years ago and he just had his last surgery this past January.
It friggin sucks............I sure hope you get to feeling better.
Oh about the room, we got a room at the Holiday Inn for 79.00 a night. So we are going to stay for both nights. I guess the other lady I talked with didn't know what she was talking about when she told me 119.00.............Idiot....

OK it's just about 3:00pm and it stopped raining. It rained from about 10am til about 2:30pm, everything is wet as hell but it usually doesn't take long to dry up. I just checked the radar and the storm is slowly moving off to the east so we should be clear here in about an hour unless the storm backs up. The good thing is, it's nice and cool outside, certainly not late May weather. I think last year it was about 90 at the show. I think everything will be OK and looks like tomorrow is OK, but that can change real quick this time of year. Oh what the hell, let's have some fun!

Hey it was goodin seein you again tonight JB, I didn't stay too long tonight we had great tickets behind the dugout for a hooks game. I will see you guys in the morning. I think I got to see BBM and he hubby, but I was on the way out, kids were too anxious about the game so we bailed fast. I will see y'all in the mornin. Nice to meet you and your husband Trey! I hope things got worked out with the shifter. I looked around for you guys for a while that afternoon, but I couldn't find ya. Let me know if he still wants pinstriping on his tailgate, and I can run up there and take care of it. Incoming!!

 

The show was a blast. Their were lots of cool cars and people. I will be looking forward to it next year.

Here's a couple cool rides that rolled in from Victoria. A his and her's set, if you will. Had a good time. The thirdshot is the local TV channel 10 getting a spot of Trey reving up the BBC with the lake headers uncapped. I believe he won the loud pipes contest and it was on the evening news...pretty cool...move over Boyd...Trey's coming to town. Just kidding, not to many people can say their car was on TV last weekend.

 

Hey, the pics turned out great!! We had fun also, but figured we better burn off early due to the weather, thank god we did!!!! I would have been one wet mama......

It was good meeting you too, we had a good time but like I said, the weather looked bad for Sunday, so we burned out early....
Hell yes he still wants you to pinstripe his truck, just let us know when you can come down, and we can plan something, maybe a cruise or just throw some meat on the pit or something. I know AMAN wants to come down also, so let us know.
