NICE car and nice work! Your making that all look very easy!!!! Know what though...theres just something about the body with the huge side openings exposed that I like! I really think I would have tried to set it up with one piece glass. I LOVE the delivery panels too...but the open version just works somehow!!! EXCELLENT thread!!!
I am sure you are jokin but just incase.... It is chanelled 2.5" and airbagged. I modified the lower control arms to get 3" of drop out of them and make them work with S-10 spindles
Damn, yet another car I should have bought from Bob when I had the chance! haha At least, I assume it was Bob's... In either case, awesome work!
Yes it does! I think it might come from those horizontal support bars in this opening. 3 piece glass will do, but they should form a 3 ROWS instead of columns!
Ya i was really diggin the wagon look for a sec there. Maybe have a piece of glass cut put some zues fasteners to make it detatchable. One day its a wagon, the next a delivery. Looks like he tipped it back and matched the A-pillar to it. Nice work, and outside as well.
Looks good. That's how I want to step my 52's , but everytime i mention it someone here flips out about how dangerous it is. I never thought about welding on the ends of s10 arms. Easy way to get discs .
you gotta be smart about it and it helps if you can actually weld (not just pull the trigger and splatter wire all over.) but i've done it on a few S10s (i gussetted the piss out of them too) with air ride and the owners abused the hell out of them and never had any issues what so ever and it's been YEARS since the first one i did. last i knew that truck was still bombin around the rough ass streets of Michigan. that delivery is fucking AWESOME!!! LOVE IT!!! i'd like to have a 59 like that but the 60 is rad as well.
I used a hardtop (impalla) glass. They are laid back from the factory. I used a frame off a hard top too but I had to graft in parts of my post fram so that my door window frame would have something to seel to
