I included a pic of what I started with, and the Jag rear axle ready to go in. I can safely say it's the only all wheel disc brake, all independent suspension 63 Rambler in the world... I think!!

Yep, that's the Fred Steel roadster that was out at the Roadster Show (before Fred sold it)
    Great study in contrast, eh?

Had a few more wagons but don't have any pics of 'em handy. One of 'em's a 57 Ford Courier that's buried in the garage, half restored, right now.

but still savable...has a slant 6 cyl engine...
saw it long ago and falled in love with it....still there...

sorry, have no pix right now,but can get em....sled

  16. A slant six, now THAT'S strange.

I've got a friend with a FoMoCo six in an early fifties Chevy but a MoPar six in a 60 Chevy is different to say the least.

I know where there is a 58 Ford 2 door Wagon (rough but lots of extra sheet metal NOS parts) Front looks like a square T-Bird currently has a Ford 6 in it..Rough real rough but is a rare 2 door wagon... Give me a shout and I will see about getting you intouch with the guy who owns it, also has a title, but has not been registered since I think 77......

I saw a beautiful 59 hardtop mercury wagon tonight, 4-door, no pillars between the doors and only a power rear window. Owner is part of the phoenix lincoln continental owner's club i guess... He was trying to sell me on that all night.

Happy to say my Ranch Wagon finally made the trek across canada and is resting comfortably in my garage. Went to the train yard yesterday to see it for the first time (in person) only to find all tires flat.

When she's done, she'll be a Meteor Ranch Wagon.
