O/T Aaarrgggh: RAF to ban nosecone pinups

PC ******** run amok: the Royal Air Force is implementing a ban on nose cone pinups on British fighter jets to avoid offending "women and Muslims."

Funny,I've never seen a hot lookin' Muslim on the nose of a plane.

 

Next thing you know they won't let you write messages on the side of bombs before they are dropped in fear of some kids playing in the 'sandbox' finding a dud and becoming insulted by it.

 

Pub has never seen Muslim, Women pilots. So how could they be offended?

The same thing happened after WWII. All the pinups got clothes.

I hate to tell everyone this but the US did this a long time ago... Its pretty lame they did, I went to the AF museum at Wright Pat in Ohio and the nose art from WWII was awesome. I'm so tired of trying to please everyone. O well, take pictures

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for being a white male, 30-55 years of age, that enjoys looking at ****s, loud hot rods, off-color jokes, guns and using them to kill furry woodland creatures, eating meat, farting, whizing off my deck into the back yard, drinking the occasional beer, and thinking Democracy, the free market economy, capitalism and education are the road to success and prosperity for everybody on the planet. I'd also like to apologize for opening the door for women just because they're women, thinking the country was better when two parents and at least one child cons***uded a "family," with only one of them working outside the home, and using the words "ma'am" and "sir" while addressing my elders. I'm very sorry I've considered trees--and all the products we get from them--a renewable resource, for thinking we should burn corn in our cars rather than send it to poor starving people in North Korea, and not learning Spanish so I can better communicate with the person taking my order at McDonalds or sitting next to me in the Emergency Room. It was wrong to discipline my child when he misbehaved, telling him to do something rather than ask if he'd like to do his chores, not buying him pants that fall down around his ***, sending him outside to play, telling him "no" more than "yes," not letting him dictate to us what he eats or watches on TV, correcting his grammar, teaching him that life isn't fair so deal with it and move on, that there are consequences for your actions, letting him fail when he tries something, and holding all his friends to those same standards whenever they come over.

On second thought, how's about a nice big fat "**** You" to Opra Winfry, John Kerry, Rosie O'Donnel, Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, Alan Alda, Gloria Steinham, Barbara Streisand, Sting, Bono, George Clooney, Alec Baldwin, Dr. Spock, Amnsesty International, the ACLU, the UN and everyone else who thinks men --and the things we do--are inherently bad because we're not all warm, fuzzy and sensitive towards everyone else and their individual little situations.

Now I hope you'll all excuse me while I go scratch my ***.

It was all a base commanders decision whether or not it was allowed.

I have s**** books from ww2 pilots and gunners and bombardiers who did nose art and sometimes thay had two drawings or pin-ups.
One on the entry hatch to the plane and one for public consumption on the nose.
