Yeah, it was a really nice show. Good turn out and some nice cars. I never really got to make it to the swap meet though.

$15 seems reasonable guys, but remember, you'll have to have a LOT of $5 bills for change. $20 with a $5 coupon for a show t-shirt makes it $15 and you don't have to deal with change at the gate.

as for advertising... you did what you could. The numbers will come as you put on more and more successful shows. Mostly it's word of mouth.

    Some tips though:
6am start time is really early. I would've had to leave home at 4am to get there on time. People started leaving before the band went on because they had already been there for 4-5 hours.

Make sure your flyers and website have the correct info and ALL the info. Flyers are a good way to reach the car crowd (cruise nights, shows, etc) and not everyone has internet access. Your flyers didn't have a start time.

Just some suggestions. I thought you guys had a great turnout, even if it wasn't your first show... and you had perfect weather!!

I had a great time. I sold one bike and traded one for some tattoo work. Sold an intake and carb as well. Got some rims for my panel truck. Let's see if I can figure out how to post a pic I only mounted the one there on the front to see how it looked. For twenty bucks I figured I'd have a good set of rollers if I didn't like the looks. I do like the looks though.

Breeder/Stick Shift,...I did some callin around today and I can tell you we ARE locked in on the June 7th, 2008 date. We have no choice at our location, all other weekends are booked; we were lucky to get this date for this year. Breeder, any possibility you can go to the week before ours again, or is the "city" of Wayland already booked? (LOL). I hope we can work this out....after all it's a year away. Let us know....

...We're having a club meeting this Friday and will hash over all these ideas and concerns to make our show better for all involved. We appreciate everyone's comments and ideas, after all the show is for you; together, we will make it better.
..I'll post updates after our meeting.

I had a good time. It was good for a first year show. The Hucksters rocked. I've been listening to their CD all weekend (really). I'm glad to see pics of that dual cowl Jeepster. WTF, in a good way. Aren't Fiddy and Tingler building Jeep-rods?

Hey Django, get a chance to listen to that Corsair CD yet?

That Dual-cowl Jeepster Longwheelbase tub is an interesting car.

Don't worry Breeder... Olemuleskinner still has to record the last 3 vocal tracks yet. We're hoping to have the new CD in July sometime

It's actually a radial that some ***hole slashed the sidewall on. I was just messing around with a can of white spray paint and made it. Sorry, Johnboy

Just a quick note to say that I found the show and swap meet to be great. I was picking up a '51 truck for my boss in the area and stopped by your show on a lark. I took 140 pictures, bought lights for my project and spoke with a lot of nice people. I will definitely add this to my list of must attend shows. Hopefully I will have my truck done for next year.
