I haven't checked on the room situation, but I know they fill up fast. There are maybe 4 big hotels and 2 small motels in town, and there's always some wedding or another taking up a chunk of rooms, too. If you call the hotel and they don't have rooms, try Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotels.com, or the hotels 800 number. Sometimes those places have rooms "reserved" that the local branch can't really touch.

 

Damnit i need to get a room! im building My plymouth just for this show.

 

Damn it!! I need about 18 months in a year so I can have some time. October seems so far away but I know 4 months will fly past.

When do you start accepting volunteers? Sign me up.

what are the hotels i forget

 

um... there's a Holiday Inn and a Best western and a couple of others. Do a search on Travelocity and they'll all pop up with phone numbers. The 2 motels are kind of slimey... but one has a "jungle room". I think they are the Morris Motel and the Park Motel. You may want to bring your own sheets though. Otherwise, the nearest hotels are 15-30 minutes away

 

Just checked with Travelocity... Best Western, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, and Days Inn have no availability... but Super 8 is still available... and hotels in Dwight and Joliet

Cool that everything is set. But in Just about a month the Cheaterama will be taking place on July 14th at Nite Owl. 830 E. Layton ave, Milwaukee WI. Kind of a warm up for the Plie-up. Not as big but we try our dambest to do what we can to make everyone happy. See you guys at both.

Cheaterama is always a blast... and you can get the best damn burgers around!!! You guys need to stop moving the date around so we can plan ahead though. I'm going to be out of town!
