SHHUT the F&*K up-progress?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Groucho, Jun 14, 2007.

  1. I'm waiting for response from Barry Grant on an "Old School" set of triples, build headers, and i should be able to do a burnout and putt it around the block. Plan B is a vintage Edelbrock single quad intake, a tradtional Holley, and a Cal Custom Shark scoop

Those clamps seem to work after all, for holding the windshield, until the glue sets.

  7. Yes, but i have a working cowl vent. It was a very poor fit, leaving me little choice. The hinges and holders alone were not enough for a nice fit when closed. But, like i said, i've got the cowl vent. I don't need both.

  8. Those Harbor Freight clamps are just BITCHEN at $2.99 each. Highly recommend for all toolboxes. They have several sizes, AND are reversable to make them spreaders!

Man Groucho you have the neatest toys! I glad to see the big flake paint jobs coming back. As far as I'm on concerned, traditionally 60's. I remember a Corvette like yours running around Southeast Kansas back in the late 60's with a silver metallic paint job like this. That car shined like a diamond under the street light in front of the VFW in Independence. Brings back some great memories. Your car is going to be a contender...fo sho!!

I may have to take it to the Drags in frankenwelds...
