yes it is a lowrider . and yeah that is bad *** . also i agree about the typing/grammer comment borntoolate ... bill carter is amazing . still working today too ..... good post groucho
low riders are cool as hell. i would love to build one out of an 80's cutl*** but i don't want to sacrifice a nice car like my cutl*** to make one. I like 'em with astros not 13" 100 spokes...ewww
here's a really good gallery of old lowriders.. http://flickr.com/photos/80643375@N00/sets/72157594581005075/
I sure do! I've always been a big fan of the Charlie Lopez Merc. I also loved the other like styled cars of that era like "Tower of Power" when it was a hardtop. Here's a pic of the very first juiced ride in Chicago circa 1981. My best friend and I lifted it. Firme! Joel
Lifted and Juiced. Two words that are not used enough any more to describe hydraulics. Lifted or Juiced. You other guys listening? Get it right already. Hydros? GAY. Oh yeah, NICE car
well I like low cars but I really don't like "lowridders" Not my thang... fuzzy dingle berrys and crome visors and gold datons....naw man....thats bad haha. I dig REALLY clean and subtle modified rides.. I DO however dig cars that are so far out they resemble concept cars... Those I like...but cars that look like the tractor trailer section of JC whitney exploded all over them....no..
You've just described current Lowriders. I goofed, my mistake. I should've said "traditional" Lowriders. I don't like current Lowriders much either
Hey Groucho I tried hooking up with you to say hello at the roadster show but I never found you. Maybe next time and I hope you had a great time. Skip
I had a great time, thanks. It's always a great event. I was parked with my G***er buddies, not too far from BadBob's tent. But, i was on the move quite a bit. I did meet a couple Aussies and BobK from the HAMB. Oh yeah, and Muttly too. Anyway, if not the Primer Nats, then Bako for the CHRR?
Yeah I figured thats what you meant, I like the pic of the car you posted.. but some of the other ones ....ehhhh
Awesome. That '67 Impala in the black and white pictures on the first page is the nicest one I have ever seen.
Rappers call them switches... people still run dingle berries gold daytons in S.C.??? dang,,i havent heard of anybody using dingle berrys since the 70's,,haha,,i have never liked the gold "era" either,, ,,have you or Groucho looked at a lowrider mag latley?? the gold and gaudy **** is still around ,,,just as billet and pastel 80's street rods are still around,,, ,... ....but for the most part now its all about fully detailed to the max 58-64 impalas done up with an original flavor except, better than when new with fully chromed ,reinforced and molded undercarraiges ,built to extreme detail,,and alot of them running Pesco setups... ,,yeah,,i love that..
