Does the way the old Gumby flicks move scare the shit out of anyone else? Those shows gave me nightmares as a kid ... uggghhh. I couldn't even get into Rudolph because of that stop motion action. It sure made the old Sinbad movies that much more effective with the fighting skeletons though.

I ALWAYS thought they were CREEPY- especially the ones where he doesn't talk!!!

That's a Lindberg "Bob Tail T". I remember that episode very well.

Looks more like the "BobTail T" from Lindberg.

His cousin Scumby used to drive a fenderless F-1 with an eight inch chop and a PBR keg for a gas tank. The truck was seized last year when he was caught up in a meth lab sting.

Oh my God, same here pal, totally terrifying!
I tell you what else scared me was when they did the counting on Sesame Street, when they went, "Four, Four, Four, FOUR" in incrementally louder and more distorted voices.

My sister used to scream at the closing credits of Star Trek when that triangle headed alien came on for about two seconds, she'd be hysterical like she was being electrocuted.

Dude, we're the same, you and I, complete fucking wrecks. Were your parents nuts too? Mine come from really superstitious stock, all our people do, scared of their own shadows.

Parents nuts? Well, my mother talks to "angels" and my dad had a sex change. Other than that, they're the picture of normalcy.

I kinda had the same feeling. Whilst we're on the subject of stop gap animated kid's TV show character speculation, do you think Bob The Builder is boning Wendy?

Ha!!I remember seeing that episode in the 80's when they started showing them again....
yeah those early ones before pokey were creepy, and always dark and shadowy, I remember seeing them when I was a little kid and dwelling on them at night.

I swear the creators of Gumby and pokey were doing drugs. The way some of their story lines would just meander and have no real direction, I wouldn't know what the hell was going on sometimes! How was that 6 across drag race start?!??!!??!!!

    WATERSHIP DOWN.

    The book was even cooler.
This years Crushproof T-shirt design will feature a Black Rabbit on account of it.
Scared the SHIT out of my little brother. I'm pretty sure it was animated by the same folks that did "The Lord of the Rings."

It was along the same lines as Animal Farm. (which, for those of you who haven't read it, is not nearly as pleasant as the title implies.)

I thought that was pisser. I remember Gumby and Pokey when I was a kid. Wasn't that pump jockey from Davey and Goliath? I like they way his dog talked, like he was on quaaludes.

Someone in my club has an old homemade version of Gumby doing Barby, it originaly was on 8mm film. Whoever made it did a great job with the claymation part, we usually show it at our club stag....lol
