It looks like I am going to have to sell one of my cars. I have a partially built 32 Ford 5 window and a driver 47 Chevy coupe. On one hand, I looked for a 5 window for a long time and put quite a bit of work into this one. On the other hand, it still needs a lot of work and more money. I'm busy with other things and it probably wouldn't see the road for another year or two. My Chevy is a pleasure to drive and way more comfortable than the Ford would ever be but I've had it on the road for 16 years so it's not so exciting any more. What would you do? I probably should make a decision within the next few weeks.
I'll give ya $50 for the Ford.....no you say? alrighty then $75! lol Keep the Ford, Chevy built that body style for years, Ford only built that one for one
If you sell the Deuce,.... chances are you'll never find another one you could afford, But you can always tell the grand kiddies you "Had" a real deuce coupe once upon a time,...... so they can say geeeezzzz Gramp's why did you sell it ?,..... You can probably find 20 or 30, 47 chevy coupes for sale for every 1 deuce 5 window you can find. IMHO sell the chevy.
Sell the Chevy. It may be a couple of years before you can do something with the deuce, but those two years are gonna p*** quickly, and you'll be in business!
Take it from a guy who sold two 32 fords about 22 years ago and now I can't afford to buy one.......KEEP IT !!
I guess it depends on how hard you want to kick your self in the future, a little over the chev or a LOT as in hanging by your neck from the chandelier if you sold the 32? Your call.
Hope you see this. Keep the Chevy. It'll keep you from being a spectator. Keep the Ford. It's better than $ in the Bank these days. Still a good investment even if it's in the corner of the garage.
Dude, everythings gonna be alright man. Just take a deep breath and relax. The urge will p*** with time. I've seen this kinda thing before. Your mind is playing tricks on you right now. It may get worse before it gets better. Don't make any rash decisions while experiencing these symptoms! Now excuse me while I have my wife hit me in the head with a skillet again for selling my ole Ford pickup!
Apparently I'm the only one that thinks so, but I'd sell that Deuce and keep the Chevy. I'd much rather have a driving car than a project car, and '32 Fords sell for ridiculous money so it'd be a no brainer to me. I still don't get how a '32 is so much better than a Model A coupe. Anyways, if you gotta sell one, I'd keep the Chevy, sell the 32 for big cash, and spend a few bucks of your 32 profits to change up some stuff on the Chev. Maybe some new wheels, ditch the graphics in the paint, give it a new at***ude. A few subtle changes will make it a completely different car instead of the same-old that you've had for so many years.
