304-375-3833. For anyone heading down from the north or east and runs into problems, that's the local guy here's flat bed towing service. He'll tow all around this area. (If you look, I'm located on Rt77 as soon as you cross into WV from Ohio. From the West or South, I'm sure there are others closer. Anyone need picked up and taken somewhere, I'll be available after about 7:15 on Friday (I have to work Friday). I'll post back but my buddy has a well equipped garage which I can likely get him to open for emergencies. 304-375-2754 after 7:15. I'll head that way Saturday morning.

We will be leaving at 6 pm Friday evening and traveling to Marietta to spend the night. I made arrangements for a hotel there and we will only have about an hour drive from there to the drive in the next morning. Your welcome to join us. I would think there would be more rooms available. pm me if your interested. Rick
Are we there, yet? Man, grandpa is backing out on me.........."gonna get dark, might break down, I've got to work on the tractor, yadda, yadda......" I'll keep trying!
I'll buy you a beer at the local brewery if you are up to it. I can see where you are staying from my back yard if I squint. (No, not really, but almost) Call the number above (from mtta you have to use the area code but it isn't long distance). I'm not going to be able to go until Saturday morning either. While I obviously don't need a room, I can follow you down. (We can take the scenic route)
i thought pre-reg might be online and held off to pay via paypal, and saw the address to send checks to! figured it was late enough to be questionable that it'd get to texas in time to be counted, but i'll be there for sure and register at the gate. probably have a few shifter knobs with me, shit, i'll bring the cordless drill and some taps too. looking forward to this BIG TIME. if i have the dough next weekend, i'm going to see about having some stripes laid on the nose and ass of the impala, too. i saw a 67 in the crowd of lowriders in the imperials CC spread in the "where it all began" section of the most recent "dare to be different" hot rod magazine issue, it was painted pretty much the same color and wheel combo as my 65 (thanks for the 65 and under cut off, ryan...) with red pinstriping, so i figure it'd be more than appropriate... chariotshop on here will be travelling in his fairlane of death, gonna be a helluva nice time, and little_e from here in z-ville is going to try to drop in, too. i've never been to a drive-in theater before, either...
Will probably just grab a bite to eat friday night. But I'll be drinking plenty on Saturday I'm sure to make up for it. I have your number and will be sending you a pm. Rick
I'm thinking I'll cruise over early Friday afternoon and check out what's going on in and around Gallipolis. If you need a hand or anything like that keep your eyes open for a Tan '63 T-Bird running a Silhouettes plaque and I'll do what I can do.
Depends on what time I can get off work, If I can skate early and get some shut eye, then I will be leaving early Friday, if not, then later that day. will let ya know as it gets closer. Of course it all depends on if I can get the brake line changed before Friday. Looks good though. Dennis
yeah i'm ready right now... gonna leave around 1:30-2pm on friday if anyone wants to meet up coming from the north.
The weekend weather in this area is going to be absolutely beautiful!! The hot muggy weather will subside. Friday through Sunday shows wall to wall sunshine and temps in the upper 70's to 80's. Its going to be a fun weekend.
Whats it matter??? Your not going to be watching the movie anyway.........probably making out with your lovely bride in your new interior.
I'm headed to the alignment shop tomorrow after work. So I should be good to go on Friday. Later, Bill
On our way. Wanted to leave this morning but you know how that goes. Wrecked my back last night straightening out some wiring up under the dash and the dog hadta go to the vet. Wife is a little apprehensive as this is her first cross country trip in an old car. Years of dragging her to race tracks all over in the motorhome must have her spoiled. Boy is she in for a treat. Here's hoping all goes well and we'll see you Friday. Are we there yet?
Hey - maybe we can meet up? My wife and I are going to attend -- think we're staying at the Notell 6? No - won't have a hotrod there . . . still in pieces all over the workshop floor! Let me know. Dale
I guess there's a party at the hotel Friday night. We are arriving Saturday morning. Come Saturday... you party people better be ready to do it again.
I don't think I've ever been this excited about a car event! I feel like a young kid that's about 32 years old!
well, i was gonna go by myself but we are trying to find something for saturday evening......so my wife and kids can go....
If you mean as far as rooms go, you can even check Riply WV. 1/2 hour or so away and I'm sure they have rooms.
